Noise is a 'media based' festival which is happening in October of this year. It exibits the creative works of young Australians. The remix competition is what Darren is taking part in. Three bands have submitted samples from their tracks to be remixed by electronic music makers. From those submitted, the bands themselves will then select the track(s) that they think is best. The winning entries will then be played on radio and perhaps through other media forms (eg online). Darren chose to remix the Silverchair song ('Tuna in the brine'), as he has been a long-time fan of Silverchair.
