Biography:
Darren
Green (aka djDazza) started making music in 2000 using Jester
Interactive's Music Generator 2000, although Darren's first taste
of music creation was made using a keyboard simulator for the
Commodore 64. Darren used this program to mess around with for
a short while but preferred the actual games on the Commodore
64 rather than it's limited music creation capabilities. His next
musical 'experience' wouldn't come for many years.
A
demo was what introduced Darren to Music 2000. After figuring
out how to use this demo, Darren found that making music was most
enjoyable and bought the full program. Using Music 2000, Darren
made a large number of songs. No 'official' releases came of this
however, although he did plan to release one or two CDs. The first
of these proposed releases was to be called 'Conglomeration' and
was a collection of his early Music 2000 work.
Later
once he was more used to the program and was making better music
he planned the release of an unnamed double CD. Both of these
possible releases never came to be however, because Darren tends
to be a perfectionist, and as such decided that these songs weren't
good enough to be released to people, even if it was just his
friends. Some of this work may be released later however as a
'best of' with the proposed title, 'Best of an era: Music 2000'.
In
2001 Jester Interactive released Music Generator 2 (which was
actually the next version of Music 2000) with a number of enhancements.
Once again, a large number of songs were made by Darren using
this program. Darren soon mastered the software and seeing it's
limitations, decided it was best that he buy more of an 'industry
standard' music creation program. In 2002 Darren bought Fruityloops,
one of the best electronic music programs available.
A
CD of this work will hopefully be released soon. Also coming soon
is a CD single/mini EP for the song, 'TBS' which Darren made using
Music Generator 2 with Glenn S (who helped with vocals and lyrics).
